ALL Officer positions will again be open for October 2008 thru October 2010, for the Missouri Clogging Council Board. Board positions are for TWO years. If you've ever thought you'd like to be an integral part of the Missouri Clogging Community, now's the time to start thinking about running for office. All positions are elected every other year (on the 'even' numbered years). You must be an MCC member to run for and hold office. It does not matter where you live as technology allows us to perform the majority of our duties via teleconferencing or web solutions.

The primary purpose or purposes for which The Missouri Clogging Council has been organized are: to promote and advance the dance form of clogging through instruction, communication and participation, and provide interaction between various groups sharing an interest in clogging.

The mission of the Missouri Clogging Council is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop clogging experience and skills, which in turn foster self-confidence, enhanced skill levels and performance & personal growth. We wish to insure that each club and/or group effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its members and students.

The Missouri Clogging Council's core values are integrity, dedication to excellence, service to our members and respect for the individual clogger. These are values worthy of a great organization, and we believe we should incorporate them as anchor points in every decision we make. Our core values provide us with a means of not only guiding, but also evaluating our operations, our planning and our vision for the future.

Your new MCC board would like to further emphasize their commitment & devotion to our members to effectively and comprehensively help maintain the quality and environment of clogging here in the state of Missouri. We recognize through our members the vital skills of this dance form will be passed on to many others who can derive personal pleasure, physical benefit, and new friendships. It is our desire to continually expand the Missouri Clogging Council membership through its statewide network of clubs, groups and individuals, thereby offering ever-greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from its programs. Our sincere desire is to bring MCC back to its historic traditions and productivity.
