Info: We practice on Tuesday nights from 7-8pm. We are mostly a performance team and try to perform a couple of times per month. We also do about 4 competitions a year and run a Clogging Workshop in May. Info: Pat's Clogging Studios, Celtic Fire Irish Dance Company, and "The Crew" are owned and operated by Kevin & Pat Dennis of Springfield, Missouri. Since 1986 Pat Dennis has been a full time instructor and performed both modern and traditional clog dancing. Pat will do workshops & choreography.
She is also a competition judge.
In 1998 Pat formed Celtic Fire Irish Dance Company. She instructs and performs both hard and soft shoe Irish dance.
A third company "The Crew" was formed in October of 2000. "The Crew" follows the percussive, rhythm, noise and hype of the troupes "Stomp" and "Tap Dogs". They incorporate clogging and unconventional percussive instruments, resulting
in a unique crowd pleasing performance.

Group Info: The Klogghoppers were founded in 1981 & celebrated their 25th year as a family oriented clogging team in 2006. They currently meet on Wednesday nights in Raytown , MO from 7pm to 9pm. A beginner class is usually offered in the Fall. The group offers all levels of clogging & provides an opportunity for social dancing as well as performance & competition. The Klogghoppers’ competition teams have traveled across the United States winning many championships over the years. The team has also traveled to Russia & Austria to perform. Exhibitions are scheduled year around for area events, nursing homes, & private parties. Their instructor is Missy Shinoski, a National & International Instructor, who is a Certified Clogging Instructor (CCI), NCHC Certified Judge, & Event Director. The Klogghoppers are the host team for two of the Heartland’s largest clogging events: The City Slicker Stomp Workshop held in the Spring & the America ’s Heartland Clogging Championships held in the Summer. Info: Since 1984, The Midwest Cloggers have been entertaining thousands of audiences throughout the United States . We have traveled around the country participating in competitions and workshops and sharing our enthusiasm for clogging. Our audiences have ranged from thousands of people to small private performances. We perform at such events as town festivals, state fairs, corporate conventions and weddings just to name a few. We have also enjoyed dancing at theme parks such as Worlds of Fun, Dollywood, and Silver Dollar City. We always strive to perform with high energy and enthusiasm with uplifting music and intricate footwork.

Our driving force is our enthusiasm for clogging. We are thrilled to be able to expose people of all ages to this type of wholesome, foot-stomping, hand-clapping and healthy exercise form of dancing through personal participation or at many of the numerous fairs, festivals, nursing homes, churches or various other organizations we perform for.
