RCBC President’s Award Winner Ariel Howard proves it’s never too late to follow your dreams
Over twenty years ago, Ariel Howard was an 18-year-old with plans to attend Temple University on an academic scholarship–until circumstances beyond her control abruptly changed her course.
“I worked so hard to get here. What am I supposed to do?†Howard remembers asking herself.
Still, she persisted.
Mimi Oliveira, the welcoming force behind RCBC’s student experience, receives Barons Best for the spring semester
New Student Experience/Welcome Center Manager Mimi Oliveira is a recognizable presence at ³Ô¹ÏÍø. She’s often staked out at the front desk of the Student Success Center or in her nearby office — fitting for a role that centers on guiding students to resources such as registration, advising, and financial aid, and on training RCBC’s student ambassadors to do the same.
