Who has the right to vote? What are the privileges and obligations of citizens? Whose voices will ultimately be heard? These questions have ruminated in the American psyche since the Revolutionary War and continue to affect citizens to this day. Explore them further and join the discussion at �Թ��� from April 5 to May 5, as they display Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, an exhibit based on works currently displayed at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. 

Looking to enter a career in law enforcement, private security or with the courts? Stop by �Թ��� on March 31, from 12 to 2:30 pm, in the Student Success Center on their Mount Laurel Campus. 

Agencies from local, county, state and federal law enforcement, including policing, corrections and the courts will be present at the event. 

�Թ��� is set to launch “The Baroness Podcast,” a monthly series highlighting women in leadership while encouraging listeners to build their skills, connect with the community and visualize the opportunities available to women in various professions.  

With the goal of improving success rates among veteran students, �Թ��� will officially open a new Center of Excellence for Veterans Student Success on Saturday, April 30 in conjunction with a community fair for veterans.

The Burlington County District 11 Veterans of Foreign Wars and the VFW Auxiliary is organizing the fair in Votta Hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Veterans can get information about VA claims filing, federal and state veterans’ benefits, housing, counseling, employment, discharge upgrades and more.

Nearly 50% of today’s college students are considered first-generation. For Dana Knittel, earning a college degree is a necessity. A first-gen college student, Knittel knows the challenges associated with lacking a college degree. She studies business at �Թ��� and hopes to eventually pursue a career as a real estate agent. 

�Թ���, New Jersey’s top-ranked community college, is going stigma-free.

Meet David Dunkerson, a computer technician for the Willingboro Board of Education who found his way thanks to �Թ��� and is now paying it forward by helping others find theirs. In 2019, Dunkerson created a Nonprofit Sports Organization called . for youth and amateur athletes.

The Aspen Institute College Excellence Program announced on Monday that it selected two �Թ��� executives to be part of national fellowships designed to support new and prospective presidents achieve higher and more equitable levels of student success.

RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce is one of 26 selected for the 2022-23 class of the Aspen New Presidents Fellowship and RCBC Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Success Dr. Karen Archambault is one of 31 selected for the 2022-23 class of the Aspen Rising Presidents Fellowship. 

More than 500 new students and their family members attended �Թ���’s first Welcome Back BBQ as part of a collegewide initiative to help transition new students to college and increase their chances of success.

The turnout more than doubled the college’s original estimate.
